This photo interest me because of the warm hues and its simplicity. The angles she makes with her body makes the viewer wonder what has her attention. This image has an 80s vintage asethetic indicated by her style of dress and accessories but yet it was taken in 2012. Theres a feeling of fun even though there is no one else around. It seems to be her special day given the spotlight that illuminates her. Theres the idea of privacy or shyness because she is facing downward away from the camera. There is a round shadow behind her that interesting.
I love dark contrast in this photograph. The contrast really darken's the red and orange hues. The background is a combination of dark yellow and a dark orange which makes the model pop. The different colors in the photo force me to look in every direction reading the whole photo. This is an awesome photo for color expression!
ReplyDeleteb. carter, next time add a little more analysis...full focus in the photo, it's a bit dark (it vignettes toward the edges), look at th necklace pop against that dress! that hat takes a lot of focal attention away from the rest of the photo, wish it was more contrasty or allied with background colors and dress!
